Episode 3 - Capricorn Moon as Sect Light - E.Y. Washington

Hi, and welcome to the 'Luminaries In and Out of Sect' podcast, a show about the moon and how astrologers embody and relate to it. My name is SP Hall and I'm your host.

In today’s episode on the Capricorn Moon as the Sect Light I speak with the brilliant astrologer E.Y. Washington.

In this conversation, we talk about E.Y.’s Capricorn Moon in their 4th Whole Sign House, a lot more about their chart, and many other things. From Queerness and Failure, to growing laterally like a sentence, to Batman and Catwoman and the grayness of the 7th House, to the story of Cinderella.

But we also get into some sensitive topics, so here is a bit of a trigger warning. In particular we talked about food, issues of gender and race, and we touch briefly on the topic of violence and infanticide.

So if those are sensitive subjects for you, I would proceed with that in mind.

In addition, I also wanted to mention that I’m opening my books to receive donation-based, student-astrologer horary questions and 60-minute natal chart readings. I recently received my Certificate of Completion in my Horary Class with Chris Brennan and Rob Bailey, and as you will hear in this episode I’ve done a few natal chart consultations at this point as well. But I want to reiterate that I’m still a student astrologer and am receiving inquiries to learn and grow in my studies. I’m planning to launch a website as a home for the podcast, and to provide more information about my practice, once Mercury stations direct later this month, but for now you can get more information by emailing me at sphallhorary@gmail.com, which is also included in the show notes.

But now for the main event, the wonderful conversation that I had with E.Y. I’m really excited to share it with you.

Please, be sure to check out the link to their website and newsletter below, as well as links to some of the resources that we touch on in our conversation.

Hope you enjoy it.
